Tartan is an iconic and beloved symbol representing Family, Community, Competitiveness and, above all else, the Warrior Spirit.
Tartan’s strongly defined pattern is built from intersecting lines of colours (thread counts), which can interpret significant information about its membership. Each band of colour is created from the number of threads identifying special dates, accomplishments and milestones. The unique UVIC Tartan was created from our university's founding date.
Our large blanket measures 69″x 62″ / 175cm x 157cm, 3"/ 7.5cm fringe
Made from 100% merino wool.
Care instructions: Wash in cold water and dry flat or dry clean.
