Before graduation, graduates will receive an information package from the Ceremonies and Special Events Office. Please try to reserve your cap and gown as soon as you know you are attending convocation. Your degree and sizing information is critical. You will be asked to pay online using a credit card or choose to pay by debit or cash in person to reserve your Cap and Gown.

Bachelor's Cap & Gown Rental : $40.00 per day
Master's Cap & Gown Rental : $40.00 per day
Doctoral Cap & Gown Rental : $40.00 per day
Diploma/Certificate Gown Rental : $30.00 per day
Gown sizes are determined by your height.
Cap sizes are determined by your head measurement. Measure the circumference of your head with a tape measure, at temple height in inches.
On the day of the ceremony you will go to the Senate Chambers, in the Jamie Cassels Centre. There will be signs outside to direct you. Be sure to arrive at least two hours before the ceremony to avoid lineups and possibly delaying your arrival in the Clearihue "C" Wing Marshaling Rooms.
Yes. Please bring identification (preferably your student card). Your regalia rental is reserved under your name.
There is a $5 per item per day late fee that will be billed to you for late returns.

Yes. Academic cap and gown for individual rentals can be arranged by email at email@example.com with your height (ft), head circumference (inches), degree and date of pick up
or by calling the Bookstore by telephone at 250.721.8311. A rental fee of $40.00 (cap, gown & hood) plus delivery and return postage for out-of-town reservations will apply. The shipping charges
will vary depending on where you live and the method of shipping. Payment by credit card is required for rentals of regalia outside of convocation. We require 3 business days notice to arrange cap and gown pick-up and 2 weeks notice for delivery.
