Fayez Gebali is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at University of Victoria (Uvic), Victoria, Canada. He was a Visiting Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia and the Information Sciences Department in the College for Women in Kuwait University. He earned his B.Sc. (Honors) in electrical engineering from Cairo University, B.Sc. (Honors) in applied mathematics from Ain Shams University, and PhD in electrical engineering from University of British Columbia. Dr. Gebali published more than 310 papers in refereed journals and conferences in the areas of finite field arithmetic, hardware security, systolic arrays for digital signal processing, analysis of wireless/optical communications protocols, photo-electro-chemical solar cells and optical data processing using volume phase holography in ferroelectric crystals. He published 6 books and 10 book chapters in different topics such as parallel computing, system-on-chip, and computer networks.
Ahmed F. Youssef obtained his PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada. He received his MASc degree from the Military Technical College, Egypt. He works as a Teachers Assistant in the radar department in the Military Technical College. His research interests include digital signal processing, radar signal processing, and digital communications.
